Musica Dispersa is an open and experimental international platform operating at the intersection of sound art, contemporary artistic practices, and cultural activism. Its activities include experimental radio and radio art programs, a record label releasing cassette, CD, and digital editions, event organization, book publishing, and collaborations with like-minded projects.
Grounded in feminist and anti-colonial perspectives, Musica Dispersa amplifies marginalized voices, peripheral narratives, and non-hegemonic forms of listening and creation. It challenges dominant cultural structures and extractivist dynamics within the arts while promoting practices based on care, critical reflection, and shared knowledge. Sound and art are understood as means of connection, resistance, and collective imagination.
Musica Dispersa is also part of the team at Donations Project in Bilbao.
